Return Eligibility & Exchanges
Returns are accepted based on the reason for return and must meet the conditions outlined below. Warranty claims are not valid on accounts with unpaid balances.
We accept returns only under the following circumstances:
- The freight is damaged upon delivery.
- The return has been approved under warranty.
- The incorrect application or product was sent by Engine’s Factory.
All returns must be pre-approved by our customer service department before shipment and include a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Unauthorized or unapproved returns will not be accepted and will be subject to restocking fees and freight charges.
If the engine has been installed, a return may be approved only by our warranty department if it’s determined that a factory-related issue requires inspection or replacement.
Such cases are rare and handled exclusively through our warranty claim process.
Returns Timeframe
All cancellation return requests must be submitted within 5 business days of delivery.
Requests made after this period will not be accepted unless covered by a valid warranty claim.
Refunds & Restocking Fees
Refund eligibility depends on the reason for the return.
All non-warranty returns are subject to a 25% handling & restocking fee and freight charges, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Returned items are carefully inspected before any refund is issued.
If the returned product is used, incomplete, or damaged, additional deductions may apply to cover loss in value.
Refunds are processed only after inspection and approval by our returns department.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.
Core Return & Crate Policy
The core charge is a refundable deposit applied at the time of purchase. It ensures the return of a reusable engine core and allows us to maintain competitive pricing.
Core refunds are issued only after the returned core has been received, inspected, and approved in accordance with this policy.
Return Authorization (Required)
All core returns must be authorized and scheduled through our team.
- Unauthorized returns may be refused or subject to additional fees
- We will provide return instructions and coordinate the appropriate freight carrier
Return Timeline
- Core must be shipped within 30 calendar days from the delivery date
- Returns received after 30 days may incur a late fee of up to 50% of the core charge
- No refunds will be issued after 45 days
Core Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a refund, the core must:
- Match the original engine in type, configuration, and application
- Be returned complete and assembled (including major components)
- Be capable of rotating 360 degrees
- Be free from excessive contamination and drained of fluids
- Be returned in the same configuration as originally received
Unacceptable Core Conditions
A core will be deemed unacceptable if it includes, but is not limited to:
- Broken crankshaft, connecting rods, camshaft, or valves
- Visible cracks, holes, or structural damage to the block or cylinder head
- Missing major components (e.g., cylinder heads, rotating assembly)
- Seized or non-rotating assemblies
- Disassembled or incomplete units
Inspection & Final Determination
All returned cores are subject to inspection at our facility.
Final determination of core eligibility is made solely by our inspection team based on internal standards.
We reserve the right to approve, reject, or apply partial credit based on condition.
Fees & Charges
The following charges may apply:
- Unacceptable Core: 50% to 100% of core charge billed
- Core Not Returned: 100% of core charge billed
- Late Return (after 30 days): up to 50% fee
- No Refund after 45 days
Failure to return a core may also impact warranty eligibility as outlined in our warranty policy.
Shipping & Packaging Responsibility
We cover return shipping only for approved and scheduled core returns.
Customer responsibilities:
- Properly secure the core in the original crate or equivalent packaging
- Ensure the core is protected from damage during transit
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging or handling during return shipment.
Return Instructions
To ensure eligibility:
- Inspect your core prior to return
- Place the core in the original crate (if provided)
- Secure and fasten the crate properly
- Attach the provided return label
- Follow all instructions provided by our team
Refund Processing
- Core refunds are processed after inspection and approval
- Processing may take up to 30 business days from the date of receipt
- Refunds are issued via the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed
Processing times are estimates and may vary based on volume and inspection requirements.
CRATE POLICY
Crate Ownership & Use
All shipping crates are the property of our company and are designed for reuse.
They must be returned in reusable condition.
Crate Return Requirements
- The crate must be returned with the core
- The crate must be structurally intact and properly secured
Crate Damage Fees
If the crate is returned damaged or unusable:
- A $250 damage fee will be charged (minimum)
- Additional charges may apply depending on crate type
Crate Pricing (Replacement Value)
- Wood Crate: $250
- Plastic Container: $350
- Metal Crate: $500
Damage Reporting
If damage occurs:
- Notify us immediately
- We will review the situation and determine applicable charges
FINAL NOTES
This policy is designed to ensure fair processing of all core returns while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.
By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to all terms outlined in this policy.
Shipping returns
Shipping responsibility depends on the return type:
- If a customer returns a correct, non-defective engine (wrong order, changed mind, etc.), the customer pays all freight charges and restocking fees.
- If the engine is being returned under a warranty authorization, by the manufacturer will arrange and cover pickup and return shipping at no cost.
Once the returned product is received and inspected, approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
Refund times may vary depending on your financial institution’s processing schedule.
